    The Kudzu Kids

    a.k.a.

    The Greenville Grazers

Natural land clearing by our small herd of hungry goats

  • Our Story

Kudzu really freaks us out - it's everywhere: on our property, along the highway, in beautiful areas of forest it shouldn't be. We got goats to fix the issue: goatscaping is a natural alternative to harsh chemicals, and goats can get into tough-to-reach spots that bush hogs wouldn't dare go.

First there were two, then there were four, then there were eight and now there are twelve. That's goat math for you, but all the better: Our herd will chomp down your invasives!

    Meet the Goats

Meet our crew: Edmund, Benny, Boots, Brownie, Mocha, Oreo, Cupcake, Flopsy, Pointy, Cookies, Cream, John, Mary, Moo Cow, Caesar, Alice and Eeyore!

Together, they make up the Greenville Grazers (Local 864) - our hungry, dilligent, and well-loved workforce.

Goats can be rented by the week, with our average job taking between 3 and 8 weeks. We come set up portable electric fence where you want us to - and for folks who already have a sturdy fence, we offer a discount!

    What We Do

Goats will eat bushes, kudzu, ivy, small trees, and more. The only things off-limits are nightshades and azaleas. While they like grass, they love bushes and shrubs, making them primarily browsers (vs. grazers, as sheep are).

Some of their best skills are clearing land, mediating invasives, looking cute, and bringing joy!
